Brause Rose Classic Pump Pen
Draw and letter with a Brause Rose nib fitted to our Classic Fountain Pen. The Brause Rose nib is enjoyed by lots of artists because of its soft flexible tip, great flex for wide line variation, and durability. It is the most sensitive and flexible of our large metal nibs, which include the three popular Manga G nibs and our Sketch nib. It can take awhile to master the Brause Rose nib because of the sensitive flexibility. It is not as sensitive as the Brause Blue Pumpkin, but the flexibility is close to similar.
You can pick from the following two feed flow rates:
- F3 for dye-based inks for fountain pens and thinner India inks
- F4 for thicker inks like original India ink and thinner paints like Golden Hi-Flow Acrylic
We ship the F3 by default because it covers the widest range of inks and paints.
Be aware that ink flow is not an exact science. Feeds control the flow of ink and paint based on the viscosity or thickness of the ink/paint. Other factors contribute to ink flow, including how quickly you draw or write, the absorption of the paper you are drawing or writing on, the warmth of your hand, the ambient air pressure, even the electrostatic charge and potentials on the inside surfaces of the pen, which can vary over time.
