About our Adaptors
Adaptors are devices that let you use the following tools in our pens:
- Smaller nibs, such as crow quills, Gillott 303 nibs and Hawk quills
- Brushes
- Marker or porous tips
- Quill nibs
Inserting and removing adaptors
You insert the nib, brush, tip or quill into the adaptor, then you insert the adaptor into the front of the pen. You can leave the adaptor in the pen as long as you want to use the tool. You can replace the adaptor when you want to use another tool. You remove the adaptor when you want to insert large nibs, such as Manga G nibs, our Sketch and Music nibs, and nibs of a similar size and shape.
Cleaning adaptors
To clean an adaptor, remove the adaptor from the pen, then remove the nib, brush, tip or quill, nib and feed. Clean all parts and dry.
