Crowquill Pump Pen

If you enjoy drawing with a crowquill nib, this is the pen for you.

  • Contains one crowquill nib (Hunt 102) and matching feed
  • Replace the nib easily - pull out the old and insert the new
  • Use any ink or paint, even India ink and acrylic painter
  • Press the pump for a stronger flow
  • Large capacity - draw all day and don't worry about running out
  • Keep your eye on the remaining volume
  • Nib seal in cap prevents leakage

Many artists enjoy the crowquill nib because it is very flexible yet and provides a wide range of line widths.

The crowquill is especially suited for our Pump Pen. The ink hole is very small, so the gravity flow of ink through the needle nib is not reliable. Pressing the pump helps keep the flow running for a smoother drawing experience. That's why we do not offer a Crowquill Fountain Pen. You need to encourage the flow through the crowquill nib.

Be sure to read Adjusting the flow in your Ackerman quill pen.

You can add five Hunt 102 crowquills to your order.

Using other nibs in this pen

We could call this our "Quill Pump Pen", since it accepts all crowquill and Hawk quill nibs, including those made by Hunt, Deleter, and Mitchell.
