Our Basic Fountain Pen is identical to our Classic Fountain Pen but simpler. Our Basic Fountain Pen is made from two pieces - the cap and body - while our Classic Fountain Pen is made from three pieces - the cap, body, and barrell. The Basic Fountain Pen is also slightly thinner, so it's easier to grip for some users. All this combines to give you the same benefits in our Classic Fountain Pen at a lower price.
