A new customer asked what inks he can use

May 24, 2019

You can use any ink. If you find one that doesn't work, please tell me. Some inks gum up more than others, so you have to be careful in that respect, to make sure you don't gum up the pen. You can clean out anything. Nothing will stick. You won't lose the pen with Indian ink that has a lot of shellac. Just field strip the pen and reassemble. I use Noodler's Bulletproof black as my testing ink, but that's a medium thick ink. There are thicker inks that you can also use, although you might have flow problems if you leave the pen resting for awhile. If you want to continue this conversation, please tell me what types of ink you use or would like to use.
