About Quill Nibs
Our quill nibs are remarkable drawing tools. They skate over paper effortlessly, and you can leave behind a wide variety of drawn lines. You can twist and turn the pen to alter your line width. You can trim the leading edge of the nib to get different line shapes. If you cut a pointed tip, you can press down to widen your drawn line and let up the pressure to draw a thinner line.
Our quill nibs are ideal with thick colorful inks and paint. You can use any type of ink or paint, even enamel and lacquer. We don't recommend drawing with the thickest media for very long because the ink or paint will dry out at some point and crust up, but if you're careful, you can use thick media for a few minutes. This means you can use any colorful media that flows, and you can shape the tip to shape the line you draw.
