Brause Rose with Overfeed Pump Pen

If you enjoy drawing with the Brause Rose nib, this is the pen for you. This Pump Pen contains one Brause Rose nib with overfeed and feeds ink to the nib automatically.  The Brause Rose nib is popular with a wide variety of artists who enjoy working with a long tapered flexible pointed nib.

The overfeed is a device that improves the flow of ink to flexible nibs and extends the range of wide lines you can draw. You can remove the overfeed if you don't want to use it, then replace it when you do.

We recommend you use an overfeed when working with the Brause Rose nib. This is a large flexible nib that can "get away from you" easily. The nib is very flexible, and the tynes flex back with little hand pressure. This mean you can loose control of the ink flow easily. The overfeed helps you retain the necessary control.

You can remove the Brause Rose nib to replace or clean it. Just pull out the old nib and insert the new nib.

Using other nibs in this pen

The Brause Rose is a large nib similar in size and shape to the Zebra Manga G, Brause Bandzug, and our Sketch nibs. You can use all these nibs in this pen.

You can also use adaptors in this pen. Adaptors let you use a wider range of nibs in the same pen. Be sure to select adaptors for pens with overfeeds.
